World of Warcraft Weapons Guide: Guns – Part 10

Guns are not necessarily helpful for WoW players. Why? They are noisy and will give away your location right after you fired it. Plus, it is not guaranteed that you can strike a lethal blow to your opponent with it. Still, guns are useful when used in the right conditions and when you choose the right gun for your predicament. Here, we shall discuss some of the most powerful guns in the game. Included in this discussion are some guns that are no longer available to the game.

 

Nerubian Conquerer

Nerubian Conquerer is a true conqueror at heart. This very simple looking bow is quite the powerhouse when you talk about inflicting damage to its targets. It is a level 213 ranged item in WoW that will bind to characters in the 80th level or higher when picked up. When it binds, the gun will increase the agility of the character by 32 and stamina by a whopping 57 points. When equipped, the Nerubian Conquerer will increase the critical strike rating of the character by 21 or 0.46%. Its speed ticks up at 2.90 and it could inflict 203.7 damage per second or form 413 to 768 total health damage to its target. Furthermore, the Nerubian Conquerer is also one of the most durable guns in World of Warcraft. It sells for 16 Gold, 1 Silver, and 14 Bronze. This item can only be dropped in Normal mode by Kel’Thuzad at Naxxramas. It is the same model as these two:

  • Rimebane Rifle (level 219 item, level 80 players)
  • Toxin Injector (level 81 item, level 60 players)

 

Nesingwary 4000

The Nesingwary 4000 is a blue crystal extravagant looking weapon that was added to World of Warcraft via patch 3.0.2. It is a level 200 item that will bind to characters in the 80th level or higher when it is equipped. When it is equipped to a character, it will improve its agility by 39 and the critical strike rating by 21 or 0.46%. It has a yellow socket that will bring a bonus of 8 attack power. Its speed is 2.80 which is pretty average but the damage that it will inflict to its victims is not. Nesingwary 4000 can induce 186.6 damage per second or from 365 or 680 total health damage. It sells for 14 Gold and 20 Silver.

 

Precisely Calibrated Boomstick

Precisely Calibrated Boomstick is one regular looking gun in World of Warcraft. This ranged weapon is a level 48 item that has the durability of level 200 weapons. This means that it is so durable that you can use it in the most strenuous situations without worrying about it. This gun requires level 43 players to bind and when equipped, Precisely Calibrated Boomstick will increase their agility by 14. The speed of this ranged weapon is 1.50 and it could inflict 46.7 damage per second equivalent to 64 to 76 total health damage. Precisely Calibrated Boomstick sells for 2 Gold, 45 Silver, and 40 Bronze or pick this up from about 97 characters that have dropped the item:

  6. Master Hunter’s Rifle (level 43 item)
  7. Oreknuckle Gun (level 50 item, level 49 players)
  8. Sharpshooter Harquebus (level 60 item, level 55 players)
  9. Sniper Rifle (level 44 item, level 39 players)

 

Relentless Gladiator’s Rifle

The Relentless Gladiator’s Rifle is no longer available within the game but during its reign, it was one of the most powerful guns in World of Warcraft. Added in patch 3.2.0, this weird looking gun was a level 245 item that will bind to characters in the 80th level or higher and will automatically increase their agility by as much as 43 and stamina by 64. Furthermore, when the Relentless Gladiator’s Rifle is equipped, it will increase the critical strike rating of the bound character by as much as 28 or 0.61% and resilience rating by 28 or 1.07%. The speed of Relentless Gladiator’s Rifle is 3.00 which is pretty slow for such a powerful weapon. Relentless Gladiator’s Rifle can induce 255.7 damage per second equivalent to 613 to 921 health damage. Aside from those, the Relentless Gladiator’s Rifle is a very durable weapon. It sells for 18 Gold, 56 Silver, and 60 Bronze and it is the same model as Relentless Gladiator’s Shotgun(level 258 item, level 80 players).

 

Relentless Gladiator’s Shotgun

Like its other model, the Relentless Gladiator’s Shotgun is also no longer available within the game realm. However, it was once one of the most powerful weapons in the game not only in the guns department but in the whole armory. The Relentless Gladiator’s Shotgun was added in patch 3.2.0 and is one of the biggest and meanest looking guns in the game. It binds to characters in the 80th level or higher and will automatically increase the character’s stamina by 73 and agility by 48 when picked up. When equipped, the Relentless Gladiator’s Shotgun will increase the critical strike rating by 32 or 0.70% and resilience rating by 32 or 1.23%. Its speed ticks at 3.00 and can inflict a whopping 281.7 damage per second or from 676 to 1015 Damage. Moreover, the Relentless Gladiator’s Shotgun is one of the most durable weapons in the whole game. It was sold for 18 Gold, 68 Silver, and 60 Bronze.

 

Rifle of the Platinum Guard

This item is a short looking gun but is nonetheless mean in the field. The Rifle of the Platinum Guard is a level 219 item that will bind to characters with level 80 when picked up. It will improve the stamina of the character by good 42 points and when equipped, the weapon will increase the hit rating of the character by 24 or 0.78%, critical strike rating by 29 or 0.63%, and haste rating by 32 or 0.95%. The speed of this gun is at 2.80 which is pretty mediocre but its striking prowess is not average. It can inflict 212.3 damage per second or from 416 to 773 total health damage that will make sure that you can give a serious damage to your opponent’s health. It sells for 15 Gold, 32 Silver, and 85 Bronze and was dropped by Ignis the Furnace Master at Ulduar in normal mode. The Rifle of the Platinum Guard is the same as 4 other models:

  • Giant’s Bane (level 232 item, level 80 players)
  • Magnetized Projectile Emitter (level 232 item, level 80 players)
  • Mimiron’s Repeater (level 219 item, level 80 players)
  • Veranus’ Bane (level 232 item, level 80 players)

 

Rifle of the Stoic Guardian

This very metallic looking gun is a level 141 item that was added in patch 2.1.1. The Rifle of the Stoic Guardian is quite the favorite among WoW players as it is also quite powerful. When picked up by level 70 players, it will bind to their character and increase its stamina by 31 and dodge rating by 20 or 0.92%. The speed of the Rifle of the Stoic Guardian is 1.90 and it could inflict 130.5 damage per second equivalent to 173 to 323 health damage to its targets. The item sells for 10 Gold, 79 Silver, and 6 Bronze and was dropped by Teron Gorefiend at Black Temple.
