World of Warcraft Weapons Guide: Guns – Part 2

Here is the continuation of our discussion on some of the most popular guns in World of Warcraft. As you already know, three types of guns exist in the game and all types can only hold 1 charge per load. Some of the guns discussed here would only need 1 load to inflict serious damage to its target. So, let us continue.

Barrel-Blade Longrifle

The Barrel-Blade Longrifle is certainly long but does not look like a rifle. This disenchantable level 120 item was a product of patch 2.0.1. The Barrel-Blade Longrifle will bind to a character with level 70 when equipped and it will increase the agility of the character by 16. This weapon also has 2 Red Sockets that would give a bonus of additional 3 points to the Critical Strike Rating of the bound character. Its speed ticks at 2.60 and it could inflict a whopping 116.9 damage per second equivalent to 212-396 damage. Furthermore, the Barrel-Blade Longrifle is also one of the most durable weapons in the game so you can expect heavy duty use from it. This item can be bought for 9 Gold, 9 Silver, and 76 Bronze or it could be picked up at Shadowmoon Valley (dropped by Doomwalker).

BKP “Sparrow” Smallbore

The BKP Smallbore or Sparrow, as it is more commonly known to many WoW players, is a level 33 item that was added in patch 1.11.1. The Sparrow has a speed rating of 1.70 which is quite fast and can give 22.4 damage per second to targets which is equivalent to 26 to 50 total health damage. It is not the most durable weapon in the game but the Sparrow is durable enough to be used in most battles. It could be bought for 45 Gold and 77 Silver but you have to be in the 28th level to use this. Aside from buying, you can also fish this item at Western Plaguelands or get this from over 200 characters in the game; the list includes:

  • Sentry Point Guard at Dustwallow Marsh

BKP 42 “Ultra”

This gun is the cousin of Sparrow. The BKP 42 or Ultra is a level 36 that was added to the game universe in patch 1.11.1. The Ultra looks more like a trumpet than a gun with its cone opening and golden body. The Ultra is a basic gun in Wow and requires level 31 players. This ranged weapon does not bring any special improvement to any of the character’s skills. It has a speed of 2.10 and could inflict 23.1 damage per second or 33-64 total health damage. The Ultra is quite durable but take good care of it as it will also break under pressure. The BKP 42 Ultra can be bought for 36 Gold and 95 Silver from 12 sellers; the sellers are:

  1. Blizrik Buckshot at Tanaris
  2. Cawind Trueaim at Feralas
  3. Colt Carbine at Badlands
  4. Dorris Manchester at Eastern Plaguelands
  5. Kaja at Orgrimmar
  6. Kerpow Blastwrench at Netherstorm
  7. Kramlod Farsight at Tirisfal Glades
  8. Lynn Baxter at Twilight Highlands

  10. Mixie Farshot at Hellfire Peninsula
  11. Sweet Gary Guns at The Cape of Stranglethorn
  12. Wixxrak at Winterspring

BKP 2700 “Enforcer”

Do not confuse yourself as to the many BKP guns in World of Warcraft because there are nicknames for each of them. All you have to remember is their nickname and you are good to go. The Enforcer, added in patch 1.11.1, once equipped could no longer be disenchanted. However, you have to be in the 21st level or higher to use this level 26 weapon. The Enforcer is a gun with speed ticking at 2.70 but could only inflict 16.0 damage per second or from 30 to 57 total health damage to its target enemy. In terms of durability, the Enforcer lags behind its cousins as it has lower durability and would easily break under extreme circumstances. You can buy the BKP 2700 Enforecer for 14 Gold and 19 Silver from these characters:

  1. Blizrik Buckshot at Tanaris
  2. Bretta Goldfury at Ironforge
  3. Cawind Trueaim at Feralas
  4. Colt Carbine at Badlands
  5. Dorris Manchester at Eastern Plaguelands

  18. Torq Ironblast at Dustwallow Marsh
  19. Wixxrak at Winterspring

Blastershot Launcher

The Blastershot Launcher is one of the more powerful guns in World of Warcraft. This ranged weapon is a level 70 item that was added in patch 1.11.1. It does not look powerful compared to other guns in the game but it sure looks deceiving as it packs such a strong force. The Blastershot Launcher binds to a level 60 character when picked up and will then increase the stamina of the lucky character by 6 points. When equipped, the Blastershot Launcher will increase the critical strike rating by 14 or 1.00%. This gun has a speed rating of 2.60 and could blow quite a damage to its target. Blastershot Launcher can inflict 67.1 damage per second or from 122 to 227 damage depending on your ability to aim and shoot. Aside from those facts, this weapon is also one of the items that are more durable. This means that you can use the Blastershot Launcher even in the most strenuous situations and expect it to survive. You can buy this item for 5 Gold, 77 Silver, and 76 Bronze or get this at Molten Core (dropped by Golemagg the Incinerator).

Burnside Rifle

The Burnside Rifle is a disenchantable item that was added when patch 1.11.1 was installed. It is a level 56 item that binds to a level 51 player when equipped and brings all sorts of skill improvement. When bound, the Burnside Rifle will increase the character’s agility by 8, spirit by 8, stamina by 8, intellect by 5, and ranged attack power by 19 points. This ranged weapon has a documented 2.50 speed rating and 43.5 damage per second striking prowess (equivalent to 76 to 142 damage). You can buy this item for 2 Gold, 55 Silver, and 65 Bronze or fish it in 4 locations at Blasted Lands. Moreover, you can get this item from over 200 characters including:
