World of Warcraft Weapons Guide: Guns – Part 7

Guns play an important part in any WoW player’s success in a quest or battle. They are ranged weapons that are extremely useful but will give away your location because of its loud firing sound. So, you need to know what guns are powerful enough that you can use to kill your target in just a few shots.

Double-Barreled Shotgun

Shotguns are not necessarily more powerful than other gun types. This point is proven by the introduction of the Double-Barreled Shotgun in patch 1.11.1. The weapon is a level 27 item that will bind to characters with level 22 when it is equipped. The striking ability of this shotgun is really disappointing as it does not live up to what you probably expect from a WoW shotgun. Its speed rating ticks at 2.30 but it could only give 22.4 damage per second or from 36 to 67 total health damage to its target enemies. However, it is not all that bad as its durability is pretty plausible. It sells for 30 Gold and 21 Silver and it was dropped by about 107 characters in the game including:

  • Caverndeep Reaver at Gnomeregan
  • Highborne Charlatan at Stonetalon Mountains
  • Skullsplitter Spiritchase at Northern Stranglethorn

Dwarven Fishing Pole

The gun has a speed rating of 2.90 and could inflict 54.8 damage per second or from 111 to 207 damage to its target. Besides its average performance, Dwarven Hand Cannon is a very durable weapon.
