World of Warcraft Weapons Guide: Guns – Part 8

World of Warcraft has many items under its hood. Some of these items are useful in battles while others are useful in many different ways (healing, reviving, etc.). One of the item categories that are very famous is Guns. The items belonging in the category are ranged weapons that can shoot an enemy even from afar. They are extremely useful but are also very loud.

Explosive Shotgun

This level 37 item can be fished when you are in Feralas and can also be bought for 64 Gold and 14 Silver. It is not much of a powerhouse when it comes to striking and damage infliction abilities but it is a fairly good gun to use. It binds when equipped to level 32 players but does not bring any random enchantments. Its speed rating ticks at 2.10 but it can only inflict as much as 25.7 damage per second or from 37 to 71 total health damage to its enemies or targets. Durability wise, the Explosive Shotgun ranks below average but is still durable enough compared to other weapons in World of Warcraft. Falfindel’s Blaster

Falfindel’s Blaster is an item that is no longer available in the game. It was added in patch 2.0.1 as a level 31 item. However, the effectiveness of the gun is critically questioned which led to many players not using it. Besides, its specifications are pretty much below the average specifications of the guns in WoW. Its speed tops at 2.80 and it could only bestow as much as 21.1 damage per second (equivalent to 41 to 77 Damage). This ranged item also has one of the lowest durability ratings in the whole game which adds to the players discomfort when they are using it. It sells for 36 Gold and 58 Silver. For general information, this item is the same model as these weapons:

  1. Nail Splitter (level 45 item)

Farmer Dalson’s Shotgun

Like the previously mentioned WoW item, this ranged weapon is also no longer available to game players. It is a level 56 item with the durability of a level 35 item. This means to say that it is not durable enough to let players use it in battles without worrying about damaging it. Its speed averages at 1.90 which is pretty amazing for a gun with such low durability. Moreover, it can inflict 43.5 damage per second to its target or from 57 to 108 total health damage. It can be bought for 2 Gold, 47 Silver, and 25 Bronze when it was available to the game. If you want to take a little sneak peek into what this weapon can do, you might find these other weapons useful:

Fel Iron Musket

Fel Iron Musket is one of the more famous guns in the game universe of World of Warcraft. Why? It is not because when it binds, the Fel Iron Musket brings a lot of random enchantments but because of the damage infliction prowess that it possesses. This ranged level 99 WoW item binds to characters with level 63 when equipped and automatically increases their stamina by 14 points. It is not very durable but the gun makes up for it with its speed and striking prowess. Its speed is rated to be 2.80 and it could inflict 67.5 damage per second or from 132 to 246 Damage to its target enemy. Fel Iron Musket sells for 4 Gold, 72 Silver, and 16 Bronze. It is quite an effective weapon to use in medium difficulty battles but would not be much help in more advanced wars. If you want to learn how to use this weapon there are many characters that can help you including Caz Twosprocket, Danwe, Deek Fizzlebizz, Chief Engineer Leveny, “Jack” Pisarek Slamfix, and Finbus Geargrind. Moreover, Fel Iron Musket is the same model as these two:

  • Bloodwarder’s Rifle (level 109 item, level 68 players)
  • Pirate’s Musket (level 33 item, level 31 players)
