World of Warcraft Weapons Guide: Maces – Part 8

Now, before you continue to read this article, it is important that you read the previous articles in this series as we have introduced the maces in those articles. Read those articles first for you to not be lost in this article. Anyway, this article contains some maces that are no longer available to the game but we still need to discuss them. So read on.

Bonegrinding Pestle

Though no longer available to game players today, we still need to discuss the Bonegrinding Pestle for the purpose of completing the list. The Bonegrinding Pestle is a simple mace that was once used by players in World of Warcraft. It is a level 16 item that will bind to characters when picked up and will increase the strength of the character by 2. As a one hand weapon, the Bonegrinding Pestle is quite useful. Its speed is at 2.40 and it can inflict 8.3 damage per second or from 13 to 26 total health damage. It is sold for 8 Gold and 39 Silver. The Bonegrinding Pestle is a similar model to these 7 WoW items:

  • Weighted Sap (level 20 item, level 15 players)
  • Blackrock Mace (level 21 item, level 16 players)
  • Divine Hammer (level 114 item, level 68 players)
  • Heavy Mace (level 12 item, level 7 players)
  • Pneumatic War Hammer (level 87 item, level 59 players)
  • Neophyte’s Mace (level 2 item)
  • Rock Mace (level 5 item)

Bookmarker’s Scepter

Like the Bonegrinding Pestle, the Bookmarker’s Scepter is also no longer available to game players today. The Bookmarker’s Scepter is quite a fancy looking mace that exudes power. But, the truth is that it is just a simple mace with not so powerful specifications. It is a level 37 one hand weapon that will bind to characters when picked up and will automatically increase their intellect by 6 points. Its speed is rated to be at 2.30 and it can inflict 19.8 damage per second or from 31 to 60 total health damage to its target. The durability of the Bookmarker’s Scepter is quite satisfactory but is still not that durable compared to other weapons in its level. It is sold for 37 Gold and 84 Silver and is a similar model to these 11 WoW items:

  1. Swiftstrike Cudgel (level 56 item)
  2. Rime-Covered Mace (level 125 item, level 74 players)
  3. Barbed Club (level 19 item, level 14 players)
  4. Flamewashed Mace (level 175 item, level 74 players)
  5. Diamond-Tip Bludgeon (level 49 item, level 44 players)
  6. Studded Blackjack (level 10 item, level 5 players)
  7. Shadow Hold Mace (level 46 item, level 44 players)
  8. Flail (level 25 item, level 20 players)
  9. Stinging Mace (level 11 item)
  10. Copper Mace (level 9 item, level 4 players)
  11. Wicked Blackjack (level 17 item, level 12 players)

Bruiser Club

Bruiser Club is a name fit for the purpose of this WoW weapon. From the looks of this WoW item, one could tell that it can only bruise the victim and not give any fatal blow. Added in patch 1.11.1, the Bruiser Club is a level 22 WoW item that will bind to level 17 characters when equipped. It will increase the strength of the character by 2 and stamina by 2. It has an average speed rating of 2.20 and it can induce 11.2 damage per second or from 17 to 32 total health damage. The Bruiser Club’s durability is not something to look forward to as it has quite a low rating in this department. It is sold for 22 Gold and 88 Silver and was dropped by Rot Hide Bruiser. It is a similar model to these 13 WoW items:

  1. Fight Club (level 39 item, level 34 players)
  2. Serenity (level 57 item, level 52 players)
  3. Clout Mace (level 54 item, level 49 players)
  4. Bludgeoning Cudgel (level 22 item, level 17 players)
  5. Blunting Mace (level 46 item, level 41 players)
  6. Wicked Spiked Mace (level 25 item, level 20 players)
  7. Truncheon (level 34 item, level 29 players)
  8. Hardwood Cudgel (level 20 item)
  9. Beast Clobberer (level 53 item, level 49 players)
  10. Fish Stunner (level 27 item, level 25 players)
  11. Stone Club (level 40 item, level 35 players)
  12. Corroded Mace (level 69 item, level 64 players)
  13. Noboru’s Cudgel (level 34 item, level 29 players)

Billy Club

Billy Club is a pretty simple and weak looking World of Warcraft item. This level 9 Wow mace was added to the game in patch 1.11.1 that will require level 4 players. It is a main hand weapon that has a speed of 2.20 and can do 3.9 damage per second or from 6 to 12 damage to its targets. Broken Wine Bottle

The Broken Wine Bottle really looks like a broken wine bottle. It is a level 12 item that will bind to level 7 characters in the game. As a one hand weapon, it is pretty capable. It has a speed of 1.70 which is pretty fast and can but it can only do 5.5 damage per second or from 6 – 13 damage to its targets. The durability of the Broken Wine Bottle is quite high compared to other WoW items that has a higher item level than it. Still, it is not meant to be used all the time. Though its durability is quite high for its level, the Broken Wine Bottle is still a pretty brittle. It is sold for 2 Gold and 34 Silver and can be fished in the Northern Barrens.
